Hi everyone... I opened up a roll of nickels at work the other day, and found a 2018 P Jefferson nickel that was blank on the back and not as raised as should be on the front. I am an amateur collector but new enough to go into Google and search for this error. It came up with different years of nickels having same error but none exactly like mine. Does anyone have any idea how much it's worth and where I should go in the south Florida area to have it looked at?

Before determining if you have an error not, we will need
to see pictures. Is there a rim on the reverse or is it flat? If there is no rim, then someone has just ground it down. If a rim is present, then you may have an error coin.

Newtothis67, like the others mentioned, you'll need to help us out by supplying a picture or two of the nickel. It's a little difficult to first post pictures, but gets easier the more you try. Also, if you have limited 'tech' abilities, ask for help from someone you know. I tend to give by nephews or grandkids a call when I need computer help.

Also, I've never (yet) seen a 2018 nickel that wasn't stuck in plastic coffins from the Mint, so I don't really know what one really looks like.

If you try using the 'optimizer' to reduce it in size (not physical size but Mega-Bites), I've had trouble finding the changed file afterwards. The 'fixed' file is normally saved in some weird spot on my computer when I try; so check around.
