Kinda looks like a buried coin,environmental damage.

a past cleaning in acid or buried in acidic soil

Youd look that way too if people treated you like they treat coins in their life... oh, some of us do...

I'm going to now identify myself as the 57th gender... COIN.

I've been spent, I've suffered circulation damage, taken hits to my ego, been sunburned and frostbitten from environmental damages, have some puncture holes, scars and missing pieces. Even have some glue applied from surgeries... my qualifications are impeccable!

It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It has dipped in acid, reducing the size of your coin. The acid ate away at the coin.
