Clipped 1906 Nickel Information Please

Hamburger New Member Germany 2 Posts	Posted 09/03/2018 07:22 am As many of you know, I am not a collector of US coins. I am also not a collector (or even a fan) of error coins. But as a part of a whole collection I purchased here in Germany, I now own a (USA) well-circulated 1906 nickel, clipped. Any information would be appreciated. I nearly threw it in the bin, quite seriously, but by chance read that they were perhaps sought after. Report this Post to the Staff

Although, there is no corresponding signs of a Blake's effect at 3 o'clock. That doesn't preclude it isn't a clip, there may have been enough material left to form that slight ellipsis...? This is definitely an "IF" and one I would mark as so before discounting completely. Report this Post to the Staff
