Found a couple pennies at a friends house that have been cleaned terribly but after a little soap and water I noticed the 5 and little bit of 7 in the date. Is this double die?

No, it's not a Doubled Die. The only thing I see, is a Die Chip in the 5, in the date. Check out this website. It will tell you how a Doubled Die is created, and how it happens. http://doubleddie.com/
