First of let me say I am not a baseball fan and do not collect cards. However I saw these and had to pick up a few packs. Hoping I would get a good one or a one of the premium metal rounds.

Basically they are baseball cards with 1 oz copper rounds in them. There are 30 different players represented and you get 1 coin per pack. Now here is the catch in some packs there are 1 oz silver rounds. There are even packs with a voucher for a 1 oz gold round.

I bought 3 of them and paid $5 a piece. While I didn't get a silver or gold one I did get a semi key player (I think).

Here is one of the players I pulled out of my 3 packs.

I am probably going to buy more and flip them. I do the same with Magic The Gathering cards as well. You wouldn't believe what some people will pay for certain Magic cards.

I don't know much about the card market, but I just read through a summary of how this release works.
It seems interesting to be combining cards and coins in this way.
I look forward to any updates you can provide.
Thanks for sharing!
