When I pull up the page for 6 months entered, it registers that I have 3 pages. I am looking for a topic dated 4/4/18 on the second page. Upon selecting 2 from the drop-down, it send me back to the default 3 months page one. If I select 3 on the tab, it gives the red error page "can't be displayed". The 3 month and all shorter ones work fine. Is there any way to direct select a date of a particular post? I Know the date from the pix record section. I was going to link it to a current running thread.

Gimme a link to the exact page you're talking about please.
I thought you were talking about forum main pages but they don't have drop downs.

I cannot duplicate it. However my "6 month" setting is all on one page. I set it to a year and all time which are paged and they worked perfectly. They change pages and keep the original setting.
Can anyone else duplicate this?

Weird glitch? It does the same when I go to a year, gives me this and then reverts to 3-month page one whenever a selection on the drop-down is chosen. It goes only a couple months on page one, note tyhe dates. It does show the action, or attempted action of the cycling icon above back and forth, just doesn't go where directed. Any special redirects or blocks placed? It's not a big deal, any old topics I use as references I have bookmarked. This was one that came to mind because of current topic. I may try the search function, but that will take a lot of time.

Since you're on Android I just tried it on my Android and still works fine. The only difference is you're on Android 6 and I'm on Android 7.

The screenshots were on Win7 laptop, use MS/Outlook and a Firefox browser. I'm on my cheepo Android phone now, but VA WiFi stinks to try to pull up that big a file, try later once I get home. It wasn't working off my computer... another Outlook glitch/incompatibility perhaps?

I guess, I have no solid answer. I think the history value used is stored in a cookie and obviously cookies are working or you wouldn't stay logged in. I'll make sure on that though.
I tried FF Chrome and IE and all worked fine.

I am using a laptop with Win10 and Firefox as my browser. It seems to work fine on mine.

I am not able to recreate it either. Using Windows7 Pro on a laptop.

Well, it works fine on my Android phone. Just a big hassle for me with little screen, but works normally. Even retains previous setting... Laptop always reverted to a default 3 months after using a "last day" search. So found my topic finally. Has something to do with my laptop I guess. http://goccf.com/t/315667

I have not had this problem, but a while back I had some cookie induced weirdness that affect CCF browsing.
To fix it I deleted all of the cookies for CCF (and only CCF).
You can usually get to this by clicking on the padlock icon in the left end of the address bar of both Firefox and Chrome (Firefox requires a few more clicks to get to it).
This will log you out and you will need to log back in, but any "weirdness" stored in the cookies should go away.

That was it Boss. Cleared the cookies for CCF and reset the password, works as is supposed to, thanks! http://goccf.com/t/315667Yep, fine now, must have been just some funky stuff from the cookies. Even the craziness of a default 3 month page...it now keeps last selected mode. My cookies had gas...much better now after a dump...
