I think Coop was right before when he said it was some kind of die damage. It's not a DDR, and not part of the design. The bay to right of the mysteriously returned Abe, shows the damage best, the unevenness shows a large gouge. I wonder if it may be die subsistence error?

I wonder if this was a case of a dropped die on the 'E' on bay 7. But it would have to be from a reverse die. Could I see a wider angle shot to see if anything transferred besides the 'E' area?
