Hi all, I need some big help here.

I came across to the above mentioned coin and need to make sure it is not a fake. Before meeting the seller I have checked the coin specs at https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces21742.html . The coin failed on the diameter as the numista website states the coin is 33mm in diameter, and this coin is 32mm. The weight is almost dead on (10.51gr) which loosing around 0.1gr from 10.616gr stated in numista website which I think this is normal. So I contacted a friend of mine who has a full set of this Batavorum coin consist of 1/16g, 1/8g, 1/4g, 1/2g and 1g. And his 1 g coin is also 32mm in diameter. Is it possible that the numista website made a mistake on coin specs or this coin I'm planning to purchase and my friend's coin are indeed fakes?

Since this coin is quite expensive I did some digging but still couldnt find any useful information so far. Anybody can tell me where to get a reliable information on coin specs?

Below are some images of the coins. Image 1 & 2 are the coin images that I'm planning to purchase and image 3 is the coin that belong to a friend of mine.
Thanks.

Without looking too hard, I can be pretty sure the coin you want
to buy is counterfeit. Draw a line straight up from the mast and look
where it intersects the copy as compared with the numista coin.

Do the same thing on the Obverse and draw a line down from the tip
of the shield and see where it intersects the copy.
There are other smaller discrepancies but this would be enough
to stop me from buying it.

yeah I just found the difference too by comparing this now a fake coin with other coins and also with my friend's coin. there are quite a lot of inconsistencies on this fake coin. thanks man..i should have been more patient in facts finding before throwing this issue to this forum and make myself like a dumb cow. it's 1.34 am here now and I'm gonna have a good night sleep for not spending usd400 on a fake coin.

well now it leaves me with the diameter issue...which one is correct 33mm or 32mm?

The top image 1 looks pretty good. The middle image shows an attempted piercing above the ship, but I don't see that it was holed and repaired. The bottom images are of a counterfeit. The top coin is probably genuine but has damage, and should be compared to other known good images. It should not command a premium price. I've seen complete sets and they are decent, high quality silver coins. You did right by passing and learning more about them.
