I sure will! Four down on the transitional varieties, three to go.

That is the challenging part. Hunting down all of transitional varieties will take some time. Which one are planning to hunt down first?

Interested in any of the three but I think my chances are better at finding the 1999 WAM first. I have both of the 88's, 98, and a couple of 2000's.

Nice score jim08 Ive been looking for a sausage initials Sheild cent for two years. Glad theres another transitional variety nut out there like me. Mule sounds more exotic and rare, do these seven classify as mules or just die switch? Or is it the 92 Close AM's that are true mules?

Thanks Cam! I haven't heard the term mule for transitional varieties. I have only known them to be called (Transitional Varieties). What you are calling (Mules) are the 1988 P and 1988D RDV-006, 1998, 1999 and 2000 Wide AM's the 1992 and 1992 D Closed AM's. I believe a mule is a denomination that has been stamped on the wrong planchet like the Washington quarter stamped on a Sacagawea planchet.

Quote:I found this 2013 P LSC DDR-002 CRH. Okay 2013 is the date, P is the Mint, LSC is Lincoln Shield cent, DDR is Double Die Reverse side, and -002 means what? CRH means what? Just learning here! Plus, I looked and could see the DDR! I saw what looks like MD, but maybe I am looking in the wrong place!

CRH stands for Coin Roll Hunting and -002 stands for Variety Vista's listing number. varietyvista.com/01e%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%205/2013PDDR002%20cent.htm Jim, I've actually been looking for the 1999 Wide AM as well, but haven't found it yet. I hope you'll find one someday.

002 is the number that was assigned to the DDR. CRH means Coin Roll Hunting. Welcome aboard the crazy train!
