As far as I know, no coin is worth even $1B. So, I guess my answer is "none" and "no reason."

Considering that the US coin market may be the strongest and that even unique US coins sell for only 10s of millions, I can't imagine that any coin at all would sell for much more.

Thinking about this, what object, man-made or otherwise, would sell for $1 billion or more?

There seems to be some unfounded rumour on the internet that a 1988 Singapore dollar coin is rare, but according to my catalogue it has a mintage of 59,332,000 which is very common. I brought one back from Singapore among other pocket change when I went there in 1999.

I found this on YouTube:

I believe there might be a few coins worth in the 10-100million range but not 1 billion
