2019 Penny Circulation Release? - Coin Community Forum

It depends on when whoever supplies your local banks get them in and if your bank needs pennies when the carrier has them. Around here, sometimes they are available in the first month of the year, sometimes several months down the road. Report this Post to the Staff

Just as soon as they get them. And since there is no way of knowing when any specific bank will receive a box of new coins it is impossible to give a specific date. I don't think the local banks here have EVER received a box of new coins except for one box of Massachusetts State Quarters and one box of Washington dollars.
