Hey guys found this cent with weird green color also wight is 2.8 gram. I have never seen one before in this color. Have you?

It seems pretty lightweight. It might have been rolled too thin. Is the scale correct? What does the edge look like?

Could've been a science experiment. Then again, the devices would get blurred if that happened.

Scale is correct I weighted 5 times 4 of 5 2.8 gram 1 of 5 2.9. Edge is also green

In that case, looks like a rolled thin planchet.

I am not really seeing the green color (not translating in pics), but 2.8/2.9 grams is within Mint tolerance for that coin. It is on the extreme edge, but I wouldn't call it special.

Does your scale go to hundreths/g? Is that 2.8 really 2.89g? That would be as stated above, within tolerances.
