Nice eye that is the small date variaty! Looks the the zinc version, but do you have a coin scale? The small date zinc has a small premium, but the copper one is worth a ton. Can you weigh it up? The copper will weigh 3 grams the zinc 2.5.

The 82-D zinc small date is worth maybe $5-8. Worth $15 in 65BN. For the 82 Bronze (3.1G) I need pics if in RB or RED value increses. $10 and up in MS-65 so probably only $1.

The weight for the 1982 Small Date Philadelphia cent is normal. It's the Small Date 1982 D Cent you're looking for, which was accidentally made of Copper, instead of Zinc. Only one example has been found.
Errers and Varietys.

I think some clarification is needed. The 1982-D Small Date Lincoln Cent is only interesting/potentially valuable if it is of the 95% copper alloy. Otherwise, it is normal and must be a very high grade to have even a modest value. For 1982 cents, here is what is not special: Any Philadelphia minted coins. Any Large Date coins. Any Zinc coins. Any proofs. So, there is only one combination that may be valuable if its existence were bolstered and more evidence gathered. I, personally, am skeptical that a 1982-D SD copper is real. We shall see...

Here are the 8 year varieties counting the proof coin. Small date copper is the one everyone is looking for.
