Nope. That's Machine Doubling on the ear. You can see the metal striations, because of the die moving during the strike. The doubling was caused by the machine.

Or coin contact. It is flat and altered. If it were a doubled die, it would be raised and enlarged and you would probably not be looking on the edge of the device to find it. (that is where MD hangs out)
