Does anyone think what I think? Seems like an odd desire to spend more money than the coins are worth only to grade coins that should not even be submitted in the first place. It's just my initial impression without really knowing if there is a hidden gem among them.

Thanks Crazyb0. I appreciate the help identifying them.
Albert. It seems like you have an odd desire to make comments on posts and not help at all. Work on your people skills my man.

First off, just what grade do you think your coin is? Secondly, is yours the 100.1 or just the common 100? These fine points make a bit of difference. Did you note the "listed price" on the NGC link? I use this as a reference ONLY. I usually consider 30% of their list per grade is the real world value you would get or buy for. Your coin, look at the dragon image, see any scales on it? Me either. I would say your coin at best is a EF30, more like VF20, that's about $3 in the real world. The reason the PCGS coin went for that much is it is a complete Mint State MS64 with some luster left. It also may be the one that is a type, I can't recall, some had different scales (dies different) One was $2, the other $2000. Oh, and the :send it in" kills me each and every time, here's my canned answer again, second time tonight!

Wow... I just wanted some advice but apparently you are trying to make up for a sad life by sitting at you computer and playing a tough guy on a coin forum.
I have a very happy life with good friends and get my fulfillment by being kind to other people. You chose a different path and your life as a result will have very few happy moments.
What a troll.

I'm only going to say this one time, if you don't like the comments and help long time members of this forum are offering, you don't have to reply with inappropriate comments. You will not get anywhere here. Keep your comments civil.

The first coin looks like Yunnan Province, 10 cents, 1923 but the scan can't show which version it is Y#486.1 or .2 Second coin looks like Fukien Province, 1901 to 1905, Y#100.2 or .3 unclear to me from the scan. Coin 3 is Szechuen Province copper coin but the scan is too poor for me to pin it down. Coin 4 might be 1 Cent, Y#353, 1939 Coin 5 scan is too poor for me to pin it down other than one of several Empire General Issues of 20 Cash, early 1900s. It's about the best I can do without good quality images and having no sizes, weight, or measures provided.
