Hello. I'm pretty new to coin collecting. I'm not sure if this nickel is silver..although it seems to look like most of my 1964 >
I also found 2 others that have similar copper complexion coming through.
Can anyone else help with this?

It ain't silver, that stopped in '45. Copper?

Nickels are alloys, meaning they are mixed throughout. Unlike clad coinage of dime, quarter and half which are CuNi with a copper core. Nickels are solid.

If you see a "rose" tint, it is probably environmental exposure to something, soil, cola, etc. It's a stain really.
