What I have seen on the internet points to this being the original but would love to have absolute clarity that this is the case. Many thanks in advance for the responses I am sure to receive. Considering that these appear to be proofs, I would certanly understand your hesitance to pop them out of their plastic holders. However, if you are wanting to have more certainty, then consider taking the correct precautions and getting a really good weight measurement and, ideally, elemental breakdown such as by XRF. It really should be almost exactly 90.00% I think. Did you take multiple readings of the same coin in different spots as well as test all four of these coins? If so, please post all of your data as that might be useful.
