I appreciate that you're trying to educate, however putting all the key text in the images make these impossible to find unless someone knows specifically about this topic.
For example, someone could search Chang Ping One Tael counterfeit right in the forum search box, even though this topic would be tremendously helpful, it will not show up.....

I think I understand. Do you mean the posts with images and data are not searchable? Should I include the name of the coin in the subject text field outside of the uploaded image? As it is, I am randomly altering my catalog pages to post selected items in this forum. The catalogs have tables of contents with brief descriptions of each coin. But that is not seen here. Additionally: I am being random as I said, but there are hundreds of World Coins and several hundred Chinese fakes in over 12 binders of coins and pages as well as spreadsheets of measured data and notes. I guess I can create my catalogs to my satisfaction, but then trying to share that here is where I need advice. One thing that would work for me is that if people would suggest certain countries or coins of interest and then I would focus on what I have that matches.

If you could type out at least the year, mm, type, and denomination in each post it would help tremendously, search engines and forum searches will find them. (Typically topics/posts here are Google indexed withing five minutes, usually 1 minute.)

Albert,
Thank you for doing this. I think it will help a lot of folks.
You might consider either putting them in order by country or perhaps one country in each thread.
I look forward to reviewing them all.
Thanks again for sharing this!

OK going forward I can type the date, type, denomination and brief description. I'll add more on Monday and see how it goes.

Looking ahead at the abundance of material, and thinking back, perhaps I meant well but am not sharing my info in the best way. It seems like each coin should be a new topic, or maybe each country should be a new topic. And then different coins from each separate country could be posted as replies in an orderly way. I could then edit the catalog pages to post the information and photos in a much better way. If the moderators would remove this present topic and all the replies, I could start over to make it more user friendly. Seeing as there have been so many posts asking opinions about Chinese coins, a better idea might be to retain this topic, re-name this topic, remove all the non-Chinese coin replies, and I would proceed with an improved way to present more posts.

I like the by country idea. That would work better. I'll just lock this one for now in case you want to reference it, it will be read-only. Be sure to use this page.... https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/myfilesall.aspto reuse your images, please don't upload them again.
