My only thought is that the portrait resembles George W. Bush a bit.

The reverse image isn't ringing any bells, but may represent a place I have never seen, so...

to CCF. Looks like a silver medal or round of some sort. It has at least silver value. Any writing on the edge? In the future please rotate photos properly. Thanks.

to CCF!

It's marking of .999 is of U.S. "fine silver." Looks like a collectible type token. Imho.

@Heyxxmcfly, first welcome to CCF. Second, when I rotate and enhance your third photo, that building with the scalloped and tree-lined fountain looks a bit like Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

My first thought was Baseball Hall of Fame but I don't think the building looks like that at all. The style of the portrait reminds me of the plaques in the hall itself. Spence, I think it looks a lot like Caesars but wouldn't they put their name?

Sure if it was authorized by them, then it seems very reasonable that they would. If this is an off-brand silver round then perhaps not.

Interesting thread. Here's a pic of Caesar's Palace from 1966, with the older structure...found it online. Spence is, not surprisingly, spot on.

Odd that there is no text to tell who the portrait is or what the building is. I'm very curious.
