These two are from the same seller, located in the UK and registered with a Chinese Nickname on ebay.

I do not want to discriminate against any nationality, location or ethnicity, but these two coins seem to be the product of the looming Chinese forgery industry and were probably hand-finished just a few months ago.

The guy is quite frank by saying "Please study the images for your own judgements", so please study those as there are more where these two come from.

I think I saw the top one in a physical auction in Scotland, in with sewing oddments.

It seemed obviously fake, the wrong colour and the wrong weight.

The dealer who bought the lot told me she was surprised I missed it. She didn't think it was fake, she said she was sure it was worth at least Ģ100.

Or simply two perfectly-normal looking Charles II land find pieces. One or the other...

I wonder if NGC or PCGS has any way to verify the authenticity of coins like these?

Realeswatcher if those two obvious fake coins are "perfectly-normal looking Charles II land find pieces" for you then we have nothing to discuss here.

Interesting reaction, a bit harsh, but well you must have your reasons.

I might have made a mistake by listing a single gold escudo cob, which was never sold, but taken down immediately after mathieuma (a trusted member of this forum) has informed me back in 2014.

After 35,800 listings I might have made also a few description mistakes (not intentionally), but I am selling in general well described and fully genuine material.

The slabbed 8 reales cob coin is guaranteed by NGC, if there are any problems with it you can contact them (if you own the coin with the slab) and claim the insurance money (they will pay the price you paid back!).

I am just trying to help here, to prevent people from damages just like Mathieu has helped me back in 2014.

In my opinion that the listed two cobs you are putting pictures of are not genuine and therefore definitely not gradable by any certification service.
