I bought a 1972 mint bag, opened, with 98 rolls in it. Nice coins, but all the rolls had been opened. Surprisingly, whoever looked through the coins missed this one. And rather a lot more of them as well. Must have been just going for high grades or something other than the doubled dies.

Looks to be a Wexler stage A and has the parallel die scratches heading NE from the 1 of the date as well as the other obverse die markers. The reverse has the die dot between the E and C of ONE CENT but does not have the dots near the lower right of the memorial.

So a nice early die stage DDO in MS condition. This one has a couple light nicks and all, as visible in the photos, but hopefully that is okay since I am giving it away. The first person to PM me with the subject line "BATS EAT BUGS" will receive the exact coin pictured above. I will even cover the shipping. Rules: you must have at least 250 posts on CCF to make sure I am not breaking any buy/sell/trade rules, live in the US, and not have received free coins from me for +/- six months (to help spread things around). Winner will be notified by return PM.

E & V, They didn't miss just that one, I have more than 50 of them from that bag. They clearly weren't looking for DDO's.

Oh I see. It seems like you have scored pretty big already! You can sell the duplicate ones on ebay.

I agree 003. I was making a side by side, then figured out the example I have doesn't have the full spread on the 003. (got to get a better die state image for that one.
