Came across this 2008 one cent with what looks like doubled ear also Die chip on the ear. Any thoughts?

I don't see any doubling. There is damage on the earlobe though, that may be what you're seeing.

Ear not doubled. I can not make out any chips.

There's no doubling. The only thing that is on the earlobe, is a coin contact mark.
