Referring to a previous CoinCommunity Forum post, namely this post http://goccf.com/t/176003, I recently acquired, through MA-shops, a 1765 Austrian States thaler also without the initials "S.C." under Maria Theresa's bust. Like the individual of the initial post asked, and as I will again ask, is this a bona-fide coin from the Burgau mint. A respondent (and pillar of the Community) going by the name "austrokiwi" said he was unsure and he would check the literature to see whether or not it was. He didn't subsequently add anything thing further to the initial post.

Looks very nice to me. By the way, your post was moved to the appropriate forum for the proper attention.

There are over a dozen varieties for this year, so I don't see why not. Your coin looks just fine.

I second that notion; I see zero reason to doubt the authenticity of this coin; it is a very nice example.

I can't comment on the mint as I am uncertain, but according to this, the 1765 Baurgau thaler also comes with an "S.C." below the bust. https://www.NGCcoin.com/price-guide...duid-1224975

Also example from a recent auction below:

Here's my example, also with SC below the bust. This seems to be the more common among the variants.
