Hello all,

I have this old coin and from my research I am guessing it to be Roman or Greek. It's not in top shape but I could not find anything like it online. Any insight on this coin would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Roman Imperial for sure. I recommend kicking this over to the Ancients/Medieval board. Valens? Valentinian I? Jovian? Maybe RESTITVTOR REI P reverse? TESA mintmark perhaps? Thessalonica? The Roman experts will know.

Thank you very much! This should be enough to help me start digging online. If not I will visit the Ancients/Medieval board.
