I found this 1985 P LMC is probably the worst case of die abrasion I have seen to date. Definitely on its last leg.

This happened a lot on the 1983 and 1984 cents probably because of die clashes. But this is not a common year for this to happen. (no premium, just not known for that happening that year) This can happen on any year. But happens more often on the Memorial design cents.
