Hello everyone. Just registered for your forum/communiyy and may have something but am not sure
As the title says it is a 1964 Philadelphia no mint mark Lincoln Cent. Something looks off with the rim around the portrait on the Lincoln bust side of the coin.i have also included an image of the edge of the coin that is the top where the distorted in God we trust is. The edge to me looks fine. What do you all think and/or know.

Thanks in advace.
Regards,
Neilblairr

As well thank you all for the replies. Much appreciated on both counts.

Now for the 54 thousand dollar question...is it anything special?

I agree it definitely looks like it was in a jewelry holder or token type holder at one time... and worn down edges and rim.

As to your question about special, no nothing special. If the coin had any premium, it was lost when someone put it in the bezel.

I have quite a few old pennies dating from 1944 to 1969. Would it be okay to take a couple pics of them in groups and post them to get opinions as to their rarity and/or possible value if any?

Very difficult to grade coins in groups. Also, most all coins in your date range are very common and probably only worth 2-3 cents each at best.
