This coin was found in Colotlán, Jalisco, Mexico. I believe it may a colonial Spanish coin from the searches I have done for similar coins, but need a more educated opinion.
Rest in Peace

Doesn't appear to be a coin, a fantasy piece, possibly hand-carved? But no, not any kind of colonial issue coinage, all have specifics, rulers, eagles, coats of arms. This is doggy playing with ball. Looks 40s or 50s manufacture.

Agree that it's not a coin. Perhaps a brooch or button of some kind. I'm assuming the randomly-placed holes on the back are there to attach it to something.
