hi! I have 117 pieces of one peso Philippine coins which are I guess in good to very fine condition.. not the rare ones, its 1907-s/1908-s/1909-s....

19.4 - 19.8g/80 percent silver..

i want to sell this in bulk to save time..

my question is this... how can I determine the Bullion value/melt value of each coin?

one buyer here says he'll buy my coins for 320 php each or about 7 USD..

do you think his offer is good? or do I need to say hey! can you add atleast 1 bucks for each coin?

thanks!

1 Pesos has 0.5144 ounces of silver

current spot price is $18.72 so that's $1126 USD in silver

Each coin has 0.5144 oz of silver Current silver price is 845 PHP per ounce So melt value on each coin would be 434 PhP each I would expect a good dealer to pay at least 85% Melt so I would be looking for around 368 PHP each. The offer you show is low but not that low tell him you want 400 each and negotiate from there.

Dealers typically buy a few dollars under spot and sell for a few over. A Private sale would be your beast bet to realize the max for your coins. You however are not allowed to buy or sell on this forum until you have. The required number of quality posts. Please check out the forum rules..

Just one more thing to consider. Regardless of who you sell to, you may want to investigate the shipping cost. There is postage, insurances, packaging materials. So when and if you get an offer, figure out who is paying for that. Might sound trivial but could really add up.

You can also sell them right here on CCF !.....but you need to wait until you've reached at least 50 posts.
