Hey,
Does anyone know what would be going on with this coin? The color and the Reverse of the coin strike me as odd.

Looks like it might have been cleaned, and has some Environmental Damage. It's not an error by any means, just Post Strike Damage ( PSD), meaning that this happened after it left the U.S. Mint.

Post mint damage (cleaning) caused the odd color.

It's now a cull coin now, because of being cleaned (it has pretty much wrecked the numismatic value).

I cannot tell for sure but almost looks like it has a bar under the letter L in LIBERTY. Kyleg, since you have the cent in hand does it look like there is a raised bar under the L?
