And another list. This might have more "holes" in it.

Thank you, Spica, and no, I didn't. As I stated, my book is ancient and I can say nothing about rarity/price.. Also I wonder.. if the LMC mintage of 10,712.525.000 (1982) was beaten after 1990 (where my book finishes). Do LMCs have even greater mintages now?

The closest the US Mint has come since then is 8,774,220,000 for the 2000D cent. Since then it's been "only" 3 to 5 billion per mint per year.
Great job on that list!

Thanks for this! I've saved the list since this is pretty much a catalog of the world coins I own :(
Maybe someday, I'll get one that only a few million own.....

G'day, the Austrian silver thaler of 1780, featuring Empress Maria Theresa was struck until fairly recently. A run of 200+ years, inconveniently all bearing the same date. According to this source - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Theresa_thaler389 million were minted. I think that most of the coins in DL's first list are copper or bronze, so the Maria Theresa thaler might be high on a list of silver coins ... Of course, the Spanish dollar would be prominent too. I admire your perseverance in producing your lists, and thankyou for sharing them. Peter in Oz

Thank you.
Yes, I didn't include coins were minted over many years and which were still produced after 1945 without the date change. Another example is Ethiopian coins struck 1944 to 1975 without date change. These also have significant mintage: 5 cents - 219.000.000; 10 cents - 348.998.000.
Also, in the gold coins I didn't include the Austrian 1915 ducat and 4 ducat. I wonder how many of these exist.. There are just too many of these here.
