I guess what I'm really trying to figure out is if these coins are worth paying for a "professional" grading agency. I just simply have no experience in this area. So you guys knowledge and expertise can guide me (I hope!)

No. Your coins are just not in good enough condition to pay a TPG plus shipping cost......IMO.

I would say your coin is in the VF-25 to EF30 range meaning @$70 tops in value. Most submissions will be $80 and more with insurance/fees and return shipping. You need to figure a value of at least $150-200 to make it worthwhile.

VF30 would be a huge stretch without the rim dings, the divot in the field and the gouge in the shield. As is, another F Details.
