If you are talking about the 9, that's a no go. It took a hit that displaced metal southward, imitating a die chip. Again, I don't know about an RPM.

Just a hit, no chip. If you're looking through 1957 cents, though, it won't take you very long to find one!

There are both A chip and a hit. I don't know why people get so excited about die chips and cracks? That is just showing that the die is getting older and breaking down. When I look into the mirror, I don't rejoice when I see a new wrinkle, or an age spot. They come with the aging process. Same with the dies.

You might have had an RPM, but the mint mark took a well placed hit, causing the metal to flattened, so we won't know for sure.
