Are those scratches on the coin or slab?

this one I'm confused with, I am so far apart reviewing the obverse vs the reverse its ridiculous. the surfaces, stars, date eagle and motto are all telling me AU so I'm going with a weak obverse strike and an overall grade of AU50. I'm sure someone with more experience with these will chime in to confirm how far off I am

AU-53, the strike on these 1807's are usually better bad.

AU-53 sounds about right. Difficult surfaces to analyze.

AU-53. Has nice toning but the scratches are distracting. Still a lot better than my 1807 CBH....

vf35. I don't see much detail in the obverse. scratches detract.
