Looks like a complete split across the reverse going through the buffalos head, hump then up to the M.

Lamination error, not a split planchet.

The reason I didn't think it was a lamination error is there is no split off metal. Just the crack.

All the sites I have looked at on lam errors have split off metal or folded over metal. Maybe this one just hasn't split off yet. But I only see the one crack. Not being a hard head just trying to learn.

The LAM section has not separated yet. Thinking I see two lines. The second nearly parallel to and below the obvious one mentioned. That whole section between them suggests separation lies beneath. It may pop off today or it might hold tight for years to come. Thanks, Doug.

PS: if it does separate whole or not, keep pieces together.
