I bought (won?) this on ebay. I don't know who graded/slab'd this, but I say they are drunk AND in left field. Took it to a local pro and he just shook his head, would not even send it in to be correctly graded. After that, we had a long talk about it and others in my possession. I got *schooled* but still, there is SOOOOOOO much to learn. I am pretty happy in the fact that I did not pay much for this coin, I think it was $80 so not bad for a lesson. Anyway, hit me with all your shots, I have a long ways to go.
Ignore the sticker/number, that's mine.

Better pics from different angles (and with brighter light) would help. These pics don't show if the coin has cartwheel luster or not.

The coin looks polished so I doubt this is a genuine PCGS slab. Better photos would help.

PCG is what is referred to as a basement slabber and any and all coins should be considered raw. The coin in question is likely an AU example that has been cleaned to give the illusion of being uncirculated. Only trust PCGS, NGC, ANACS and ICG for graded coins and still only trust these if they are accurately graded. There are some out there that may be optimistic.

Thanks ya'll! I'm about to the point of buying PSCS graded only. Maybe I'll just bury these in the back-yard and let someone find them in a 100 years with a metal detector. Maybe they will atleast be worth the price of silver someday.
Rest in Peace

Chalk this one up to the cost of education. Just think, there are many collectors out there still buying this crap not knowing any better and sadly never will.
I thank CCF and it's members for making me a smarter collector.

It is worth the silver melt value. Most certainly a keeper!
