Hi there fellow banknote collectors. Just havin a winge about fees when buying notes. I buy PMG + PCGS currency graded Australian predecimal notes mainly from overseas as there are not many here in Australia. Purchased some nice notes from HERITAGE auctions for $1725.00 AUD and now have to pay $236.00 for GST tax + customs. (BUMMER). It's bad enough having to pay for Paypal conversion rate,Postage,Insurance and handling costs. Like Heritage auctions get some really nice notes but there postage and handling costs are to high. Have had to let a note go as it will probably sell for around $250US with a postage and handling fee of $85.00US.

I feel you. I've had to let some things go because of all the fees associated with the shipment meant I was paying way more for the note/coin than it's value. Hard to justify.
