I am going away for a few days and will put my listings on "Vacation Mode".

I thought that took care of delayed shipments, but when I was gone for three weeks this summer I discovered that it does not. My "on time" shipping percentage that I need to keep at 95% or better fell because I was gone.

What do I need to do to notify ebay and/or buyers that there will be a delay in shipping so that my percentage of "on time" shipping is not negatively affected?

Thanks.

You need to have a store.
That's the only way you can use the Vacation option.
Rest in Peace

You have to disable the listing, take it down or it will remain as is and rollover each month unless set to die out.

Even though vacation mode is supposed to protect you, I've found the only way to make sure is to just take everything down until you get back. I literally had an item not received case opened against me during the time my store was in vacation mode and lost so I have little faith in it

Thanks for the responses.

My "Plan B" is to have my daughter handle any coins that sell when I'm gone. I've give her a little tutorial before I leave town and keep in touch with her should I sell something.

I went to "Vacation Setting" and found an option that allows me to block people from buying coins (BIN) while I'm gone. It tells them I am not processing orders at this time and they can put coins on their watch list and contact me when I return.

That will save a lot of time and effort.
