Learn the way this coin and the 1896-O you posted look -- and you will be able to avoid cleaned coins in the future much more easily. The hairline scratches, the "halo" around the legends, and the unnaturally shiny surfaces in the face of definite wear to the hair and breast feathers all point to a coin which was circulated, but then dipped and wiped or lightly whizzed.
