I found this in a US nickel roll and didn't know it's country of origin and year of mintage. Any info is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

As Albert said, it's a Taiwan 5 dollars (yuan). The letters surrounding the bust of Chiang Kai-shek read Year 10 7 (70) Chung Hua Min Kuo (Republic of China). That would place it at 1981 (70th year of the republic).

NIce coin. That's one type I don't have yet. A Krause World Coin Catalog (1901-2000 edition) would be a good investment if you are collecting 20th century world coins like that one.

I think it has about no value because of poor condition. It could be the kind of coin found in a dealers junk box.
