Just popped on a MS62 1878 MSD 8TF from APMEX for almost $100 less then the previous one I had almost bought. This is a lot of coin for $359 and actually looks under graded to me, or at the least a very strong 62. I'm going to have to close shop for the month as once again I'm way over-budget. I have about $600 in WW1 and WW2 era coinage and currency coming in as well as a 10 oz silver bar. Also I'm organizing my 1st half of 20'th century wall and shelf display. But I just couldn't pass this coin up. I think its a nice strike. Even the cheek looks good, the hair looks nice "around the ear most of all, eye brow and nose looks pretty good, and the feathering looks fantastic. And with APMEX I have few worries.
