I just thought of the idea, could be fun! I did see an old thread in the ancient coins category but I thought I'd create a new one for ALL coins depicting weaponry! Let's have some fun and see some really cool designs! I know there's many many good ones. Bows, arrows, maces, swords, daggers, hammers and so on.

Feel free to post any coin you like, you don't have to own it of course.

I'll start off with Austria: Archduke Leopold 2 Taler 1626

Weapons on both sides of this 1976 25 Gourdes of Haiti.

The obverse of the coin presents the Haiti Coat-of-Arms (circa 1974) which features multiple cannons. The coin's reverse design depicts a battle scene involving the Saint-Domingue troops engaged in the American Revolution - multiple weapons on display!

Nice looking coins ^^^^^^^

How about this nicely toned Zurich 5 Francs from 1859 with hunting rifle and long dagger! Now that's a man that means business.

@TobyJ: Nice Swiss Shooting Taler!

Here's the 1921 US commemorative Half Dollar for the 100th anniversary of Missouri's Statehood. The coin features Daniel Boone on each side, with the reverse the side of the coin being of interest here.

On the reverse, Boone is depicted standing to the left of a Native American Chief (Chief's perspective), both of whom are, presumably, looking west. Boone has his left hand upraised and is pointing; he also holds a long gun or rifle upright with his right hand. The Native American holds a pipe in his right hand - not a weapon - and a shield in his left hand (defense against a weapon).
