Thanks 999fine :)

I've been to Brunswick with my fiancèe this weekend and of course had to check out the local coin shop. I've got two nice little coins from German East Africa that get me closer to complete a German East Africa type set (without varieties):

The first one is a nice 1/2 Heller coin. The second one is quite interesting because it was minted in WW1, with quite primitive conditions for minting coins.

I found a really cheap Louisiana silver Quarter online. It even had free worldwide shipping. The seller totally surprised me by sending also a little gift: 1934 nickel and 1961 dime.
All three coins went into my 20.th, 21.st century type album, but at some point I'll have to upgrade the Buffalo nickel (and the dime was an upgrade).

Customs likes to release a month's worth of orders all at once; my wife was a little less than thrilled yesterday!

Finn235- Gorgeous Indian coins! Very nice Company Bengal Rupees, Kutch pieces, Indore Rupee, Bull & Horseman, and Mughal Rupees (I believe that is what those two on the left edge of the lot are). Did you get them at a show or shop? I'm just curious since it seems pretty rare nowadays to find decent Indian coins in coin shops.

Thanks!

There's about 5 ebay sellers in India who list a few hundred coins per week, usually a tasty mix of princely state, mughal, British, and ancient. I have been averaging about $15 for the rupees, all of which of course pass basic scrutiny for authenticity. The kutch 5 kori ran me a bit more, $20 for the George V, $30 for Victoria. I am inching my way through Indian rupees; still have two scarcer Portuguese (1903 and 1882), Victoria EIC (1840), William IV, Edward VII (1905), plus some Mughal and other princely states. I'll make a topic when I have them all in about a month.

The one that really vexes me is Bundi state. I love the design of the big, squished English legend, but bidding routinely tops $50 which is more than I'm willing to spend right now.
