Well, after I get both images uploaded, I put my cursor at the end of the first image then hit the delete key once (only one time) This removes the carriage return that the uploader inserts after each up load.

for example, take the last image I uploaded above: (I'll disable the string so you can see it)
img]uploaded/dearborn/20260207_1936-1944-ethiopia-1-santeem.webp[/img]delete right here so there are no spaces between the [/img] [img] tags [img]uploaded/dearborn/20260207_1936-1944-ethiopia-1-santeem1.webp[/img

Very Nice addition to your collection Dearborn
Could you help me out and explain?
. . . A few days ago, I uploaded a picture, and it appeared sideways on the website page, even though I uploaded it right-side up.
Thanks!

It is the function of the auto-rotate on your phone. I will always hold the phone upright before bringing it down over a coin I image. If you tilt the phone slightly, the rotate function kicks in thinking you want to take an image with the phone held horizontally. (I will look at the tiny 'preview' image on the cam app to see if an image will display sideways or not.)

Thank you, Dearborn. I usually don't use my phone to take photos and later upload them here.
I took a picture of the desktop monitor screen of an image of a coin that was way oversized..
It could be, as you said, that I tilted the phone slightly.
Thanks!
