I'm still on the sterling silver kick and this is not an easy medal to get.
But I did

Immediately when I saw this, I knew I was buying it. The price turned out to be not to bad either.
For those who may care, I believe this to be a variety 5G.

A Feuchtwanger Cent is on my wish list! Nice coin!

Another sterling medal that I have acquired. I know that some frown on Franklin Mint silver medals. But there are some that are well done and fairly close to spot prices for the bullion content. The ones I have interest in contain over 1 oz of pure silver even though they are sterling.
Some go much higher over bullion value ( which I steer clear of ) but some can be pretty hard to find and are still relatively cheap.
I cannot locate another of this one at this time searching the internet.
I like to find half decent designs on themes that are interesting to me that hover closer to bullion value.
The is titled "The Washington Family" by Edward Savage in 1796. The medal was made in 1975 and I am pretty sure it is one from the series The American Art Treasures.
The painting it is representing is also shown here. It comes close but certainly ~ no cigar. Still I like it for a better stacker.

All things considered, I think it looks pretty good.
