Wornslick, nice VAM, do you collect many or just as a good deal comes up? I started, but found it endless, and no way to get ahead of the game. So mine just sit for now. I think, I need to limit it to top 100 or 50....but that changes too! No matter what, you can't go wrong with a PL Morgan.

Thanks Alan, no I really don't collect VAM's. I was looking for a 1878 7/8 for awhile now and this came up and just happened to be a Vam-38. I find them very interesting though.

Wormslick, what is really frustrating is finding a VAM and then finding something else which is also on the coin and another VAM.....yet there is no VAM for both strike varieties on the same coin. In that case, is it a "multi" VAM coin or does one have to submit it to get its' own VAM designation? I often wonder when I find several markers which have different VAMs listed but not on the same coin and my coin has both on it.

I guess that is why I love this hobby too!

Not sure if this really counts as I did not acquire this for myself. I bought it for a close friend for the holidays. She collects giraffes and I mean all of them. The year is mine :) This is a stock image. Hers is much better.

OK so its worn to almost nothing and PCGS were a little too generous on their G04 but I can't pass up the opportunity to buy one of these I see maybe one for sale every two years..
Please welcome the latest addition to my collection.
