Got it a week ago, my Valentinian I AE3, minted in Siscia mint (Sisak, Croatia). These are the seller's pics, but it looks exactly as shown. I really like the detail on it, and the soldier dragging the captive on the reverse is very cool. The obverse has "DN VALENTIANVS PF AVG" and reverse: "GLORIA ROMANORVM". It's one of my favorite coins now, actually

Forgive my ignorance, but I never heard of a 'superbird' quarter before. What's super about it, other than being proof?
I know if I google it, it's just going to show me a whole lot of cars.

mysilveryears-if I could photograph better, you could see the S on the chest of the eagle. No one has reported to know what caused this on some of the '52 proofs, however, it is thought someone at the mint intentionally caused it. You can get some more info here:

You learn something everyday....I always thought it was called a "superbird" due to having a larger chest and never even thought of the letter S in the picture.....that is neat! Thanks for the link!

I went to a coin show this weekend and bought seven coins...

1865, 1875, 1876, and 1879 Indian Head cents
1916-D, 1924-S, and 1926-S Buffalo nickels.

I took some quick photos with my DROIDX, still in the 2x2 holders; only three came out decently.
