I guess Britannia herself has been around a very long time.

One of my recent additions to my "KIWI" collection. Mintage is 150,000. 50% silver. Very surprised this didn't go higher and I won it for a $13 bid - looks to be AU.

Lots of nice recent additions, everyone! About the only coins I'm buying right now are upgrades for my complete silver classic commemorative set. My main effort is upgrading all of those graded lower than MS65, and with this new addition I'm down to 8 (of 146) remaining to finish that. However, 4 of those remaining will be tough from a budgeting standpoint - the Lafayette dollar, Missouri 2x4, Hawaiian, and thin Norse American medal - so that will take me a long while... This one is a Hudson commemorative which upgrades my MS64 example I've owned for 9 years. MS66 Hudsons are not difficult to find, but finding one which had good eye appeal and decent strike has taken a long time. This one checked all the boxes for me. The luster is much nicer in hand than represented in my pics.
