My 2017 Iowa State Quarter. Errors?

Newcc2018 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 10/01/2018 6:40 pm Still new at determining errors. Any advice would be much appreciated. The words EFFIGY MOUNDS looks weird. Above the words there are cracks around rim and seems to be a large space between the circle with everything inside it til the edge. Anything here? Thank you Report this Post to the Staff

Not off enough in either case to add much of a premium. Word EFFIGY not clear enough to tell what is going on. Report this Post to the Staff

Newcc2018 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 10/01/2018 11:22 pm Sorry I have great camera but the site make me reduce quality big time. Effigy and other letters looks doubled or messed up some way. Then where it looks like a quarter would normally end there's space before the edge. Hard to explain being new and forgetting terms. Quarter itself either looks off center or pressed too hard to make extra blank space before the edge. Does that help at all? If not I'll have to research more to explain it. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/02/2018 4:41 pm About 70% of these quarters have Machine Doubling on them When the devices are incuse (like these) the slightest die movement cause this damage to those devices. All the DDRs are on the central area of the die. None on the incuse devices on the area you are looking at. Report this Post to the Staff
