I just received this UNA PESETA yesterday. On the Obv. in the face are several craters (don't know how else to describe them). I need help identifying what they are. Is the mint error? Or PMD?

You need to upload a better quality picture ,in order to have help.

See this one:
PMD
Short for post mint damage. Damage sustained after the coin was struck.

I tend to assume indentations like these are post-mint damage. The coin was most likely hit by something, or pressed down onto something.

I would say Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Something indented the surfaces.
