1981 D Roosevelt Dime With 1972 D Punch On Head

I found this dime last week going through some coins. Seems odd that the date on the obverse on Roosevelt's head is 1972 and not 1981 to be a mint error. Looking for some expert opinions on this, thinking it might be from another coin being pressed into it. Hope the pictures are good enough for everybody to see the details.

You see these on ebay from time to time.
Someone damages a coin like this and then tries to sell
it as a "double struck error".

Okay well thanks for your expertise. Takes alot of looking to find a good fake. Think I'll keep it anyway and label it as such at least then I have an interesting memory. Thanks guys.
